Word is those mad fools the Zurhidon are causing some unnecessary drama and up to us to put these bitches down. Yes, it is true. My family and I off to Japan in November (not permanently) for a variety of reasons. I’m super stoked to go, so much so I’ve made a little title sequence for it. Enjoy joy.
If you’re a fan of games and Charlie Brooker then you might be interested in watching Gameswipe on BBC iPlayer. Although the focus of the program is a little foggy, often a degree of gaming knowledge is sometimes required while at other times it seems to be pitched more for those new to gaming. Still, any program written by Mr Brooker is worth a watch.
This program is part of a season of technology themed series on BBC Four and there some shows that look worth catching. Particularly the drama Micro Men, which retells the story of the rivalry between the BBC Micro and Sinclair Spectrum.
Back in 2006 I was far too much in love with World of Warcraft to notice the original release of Turbine’s Dungeons & Dragons Online, but time has moved on and WOW and I have grown apart over these last three years. So with DDO’s recent move to a free to play model I thought this might be a good time to try it out.

Having a tea break? Me too, I’m meant to be working on exciting video stuff, but I’m surfing on the net instead, so in order to be slightly productive I’m sharing this with you.
NCSoft’s free to play RPG Dungeon Runners will shutting down on new year’s day as the publisher isn’t making any money off of it. A letter posted on the game’s website Stephen Nichols (Producer and Lead Programmer) explains the reasoning behind the closure and is far too long to repost here.
Check it out before it disappears completely.

Dungeons and Dragons Online is free to play from today after the subscrition model developer Turbine was using hasn’t performed as they had hoped. They had a bit of a moan about it with their original publisher Atari.
I’ve only had a little go so far and initial impressions are good, plus it has some nice DX10 graphics. It looks quite similar to Turbine’s other MMO Lord of the Rings Online though. Still, it is one of the nicest looking free to play MMORPGs out there so I won’t complain too much. More soon.
Rejoice dear reader as I have finally gotten round to setting up a You Tube channel were you can view some older videos from the archive and engage in flame wars with trolls. There aren’t many videos on there at the moment, but I hope to rectify this over the coming weeks.

It be due out soon and allows ye to sail to new towns in the Americas! Aaaaaarh. If yer don’t know what Bounty Bay Online be then just think of Sid Meier’s Pirates, but with more pirates and shiny graphics like a piece of stolen Spanish gold.
